Materials are: a silver plated brass safety pin, a freshwater pearl, a silver plated brass circular bead, and a quartz stone point.  Length of brooch is 3", and is 2.25" at its highest point.  The quartz point does have a secondary hole partially drilled at the bottom, it is circled in pink in the photos.

Due to the nature of this brooch, the components are loosely stacked on the pin.  The space between the top pearl and the pin clasp is the amount of space you can affix it to your clothing.  This brooch is best worn on slightly thicker to heavier fabrics due to its weight.  It is slightly on the heavier side, so it is not for those who are unaccustomed to wearing slightly heavier pieces.
