Materials are: silver plated brass safety pin, antique silver plated pewter spacer beads, carnelian stone horn components, and a silver plated brass and carnelian pendant.  Length of brooch is 5 3/8" (with the pendant end laid out horizontally), and is 2 1/8" high (with the pendant end laid out vertically).  

Due to the nature of this brooch, the components are loosely stacked on the pin.  The space between the top carnelian horn and the pin clasp is the amount of space you can affix it to your clothing.  This brooch is best worn on slightly thicker to heavier fabrics due to its weight.  It is slightly on the heavier side, so it is not for those who are unaccustomed to wearing slightly heavier pieces.
