It's as if you got this necklace from some far away, exotic destination!  Rock it with your favorite boho blouses and maxi dresses.  The garnet crystal meaning is rooted in ancient history and comes from the Latin word ‘granatum’, which means pomegranate, a reference to its intense red color that resembles the glistening, deep red seeds of the fruit.  As an essential tool in the constant battle to keep it all together, the garnet crystal helps us feel grounded and connected to the present moment. I named this necklace Stargate, after the look and feel of the architecture from the iconic 90's movie!

Materials are: matte gold plated brass chain and components, a vintage matte gold plated metal pendant with a faceted garnet stone, and garnet beads.  Length of necklace is 23", and it drops down 5.5" from the bottom center of the necklace.  Pendant is 3" long and 1.5" wide. It is on the somewhat heavier side, so it is not for those who are unaccustomed to wearing somewhat heavier pieces.
